Fees

Fees

All sessions are 50 minutes long. Our fees are in line with the recommended fee schedule set out by the Psychologists' Association of Alberta (PAA).

For payment, WPS accepts debit, credit, and e-transfer. We also direct bill with Blue Cross, Medavie Blue Cross (who cover Veteran’s Affairs Canada and RCMP), and Telus e-Claims, which includes providers such as Canada Life and Desjardins. Please check with your insurance company to determine what coverage is available to you before coming to counselling. Some providers will only allow Registered Psychologists to bill, whereas others permit Registered Provisional Psychologists and Clinical Social Workers to also direct bill. In cases where we cannot direct bill, you will be provided with a sales receipt so that you can submit a claim to your insurance company. If cost is a concern, you may want to consider one of our skilled and experienced Certified Counsellors or Master’s Level students. In some cases, our therapists may be willing to offer a sliding scale for session fees. Please contact WPS and we can have a discussion to see if this something that can be arranged.
